Mark Skaife wa born on 3 April, 1967 in Gosford, New South Wales. Mark Skaife has won the V8 Supercars/Australian Touring Car Championship and Bathurst 1000 winner five times. He announced his retirement from full-time touring car racing on October 29, 2008.
He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2004, for services to motor racing and charity. In 2006, Skaife drove a HSV Maloo and set a Guinness World Record with the fastest speed of 277.16 km/h for a production ute.
