Italian Job (2003) Movie Review – Starring Mark Wahlberg
I really enjoyed watching the Italian Job (2003), starring Mark Wahlberg. This movie had a lot of fast paced action – the best bit would have to have been with the Mini Cooper’s, there was some absolutely brilliant driving. I would give this film about an 8 out of 10. I would say definetely watch this one. All the actors did a great job.
Charlie Croker (Mark Wahlberg) is the leader of a crew of skilled super-thieves, who pull off a flawless heist to steal 35 million dollars in bars of gold in Venice, Italy. The only problem is that one of the gang Steve Frezelli (Edward Norton) double-crosses the rest of the gang and kills veteran thief John Bridger (Donald Sutherland), and makes off with the gold and assumes that the rest of the gang are dead. Croker and his former crew of thieves plan to steal back the gold and exact revenge on Frezelli for Bridger’s death, and they enlist the assistance of Stella (Charlize Theron), John’s daughter, also a skilled safe-cracker. Now the job isn’t about payment it is about payback.
