HP

HP came on the market in 1910. This was the first automobile created by A.L.F.A (later Alfa Romeo). The engine designation consisting of a number as well as "HP" came from the then usual designation of tax schedules.

6C name was used on road, race and sports cars made between 1925–1954 by Alfa Romeo. 6C refers to a straight 6 engine.
